Thirsty Thursday

I have had entirely too much on my mind lately and not one minute to just sit and think. Finally, tonight, I was able to get some thinking time in.

First off, I don't know what my deal is with mankind lately. I used to be that girl that would go for any guy that gave me attention. Now I'm on the entirely opposite side of the spectrum! I am so goddamn picky now! Even little things can competely make me want to run for the hills until a cuter boy comes along. It's blowing my mind! I think since I have been single since June, I've had all this time to think about EXACTLY what I want in a guy. It's probably a good thing. What is up with me?!

On another note, I've realized that I need a job where I am either travelling or doing something different every day. Are there any jobs that require a cosmo license and a bachelors degree? If so, gimme. Seriously though, I love change too much to be sitting behind a desk, pencil pushing to the same beat every day.

Today was a good day, actually. I woke up a little later than planned, thanks to my new habit of taking Tylenol PM to fall asleep. After waking up I immediately put some clothes on and went for a nice long walk around the neighborhood. The Lady Gaga pandora radio station made it even enjoyable along with the fall foliage. As soon as I got back I hopped into a freezing cold shower, which I might add is great for my fried hair's healing process. The walk and cold shower really made me ready for the day. I tried my Boca bruschetta patties and, hot damn, they rule! Especially with some hummus. Delish. Anyway, I had to finish my Destination Truth marathon that recorded so I could free up some space on the DVR...and because I love that show! Work was great; I had a surprise appointment with Ana! Totally made my day and also helped pass the time. I couldn't believe how late it was when she left but her hair looked fantastic! Hope you love it, Ms. Clonts!!

Anywho, I'm trying real hard to fall asleep au natural tonight so I've got the Devendra Banhart pandora station going on the iPhone as I type. I hope everyone's week is going well!

Mass chaos in my boring life

Work has been making my crazy. Honestly these last few days I've just been going on, doing my job, and getting the fuck out without trying not to scream at certain people. I feel like I'm on a completely different intellectual plane than anyone else in there. Pathetic. That's why I'm so ready to get back into school so I can get a big girl job.
On that note, I'm ready to go back to Austin. I miss my freedom. I know that I need to get my plans taken care of for the next year before I actually get to moving back. I'm driving in tomorrow and I'm gonna make a list of what I need to do:
- Car registration/inspection
-See Mom
-Visit Sarah at school
-Grocery shopping at Natural Grocer (they are WAY cheaper than HEB, which is weird)
-Maybe a little trip for myself to Buffalo Exchange or Urban Outfitters

Well, now that I've bored everyone..that's all! Time to get ready for work...lame.

Monday Funday

First things first, this veganism rules. I lost 4 lbs in 4 days, but I haven't checked in 2 days, so hopefully I'm up to 6! My body feels SO much better, as well. I've been discovering so many different foods and ways to make them. I've got an Amy's Vegan Pizza in the oven now cooking for work.
We had our Halloween party this weekend and I'm so glad I got to see some really good people...
I can't even think of anything else to update about..I'm boring!
